Jerome to Pendleton

Kathi and I plan to move northwest on I-84 tomorrow. We have been in Jerome, Idaho for a week. It's over three hundred miles to Pendleton, Oregon. This is about half way from Jerome to Lincoln City, Oregon which we hope to reach before the end of the week. We pass through Mountain Home, Boise and Nampa in Idaho before getting into Oregon.

When we were in Nampa in 2010 we visited the Snake River Birds of Prey Conservation Area. I thought I might get to see an eagle. We drove about three hours through the area and did't see anything bigger than a sparrow. I'll try again, but not this trip. The conservation are is BLM land and covers 758 square miles. I've included a picture of the Swan Falls Dam on the Snake inside the conservation area.
