Ogden Restaurants

We have eaten in several good restaurants in Ogden, Utah. I am going to discuss two of them in this blog.

Last year we ate at Union Grill and Brewery inside Union Station on Wall Ave. They have a variety of food on the menu. We had dinner with the Dubose family, Justin, Mandy and Austin. The camaraderie is always as good as the food, which was excellent and filling. The atmosphere is worth the visit to Union Grill. We ate at a table outside in beautiful spring weather. Austin was tired, but he managed to stay awake to eat a good portion of his dinner. We were entertained by a piano player playing a piano on the sidewalk.

Union Station is an active train depot with most of the trains used for tours in the area. The building is also the home of the Utah State Railroad Museum.

This mural is inside Union Grill in the waiting area.

Kathi and I went to dinner last night again with the Dubose family. We enjoy being together and sharing our adventures. We ate at La Ferrovia Italian Ristorante, one of our favorite restaurants in Ogden. It is just around the corner from Union Station and is located on 25th St. I had cannellone filled with meat and cheese and Kathi had cannellone filled with spinach. The cannellone dishes come with penne pasta and Alfredo sauce. I ate every bite and got stuffed. All the meals I have eaten at La Ferrovia have been delicious. Austin ate his penne pasta and was a pleasant dinner companion, allowing Mom and Dad to carry on a conversation with Kathi and I.
